Joshua Tree U2 Manila Tour - bombs away
Last night’s U2 concert was THE BOMB in so many ways.... the first bomb was ingress and egress in the arena which was actually overwhelming because I did’nt know we had one of the biggest stadiums in the world here in the PH. People did not know where to go to line up and it was a huge no-no. Organizers of the event were under-manned and I can’t get to call them organizers because it was in a state of disarray. So let’s just call them disorganizers.
The second bomb was the lines. Unli line gud.. Grabe. Have’nt you heard of RFID people? You should have gone to bigger concerts such as in Java Jazz. The only line was in the entrance and even that was a breeze. Dito shet, magaling naman tayo sa tech, and sa mahal ng ticket ni hindi napagisipan ng Disorganizers ang state ng ingress. Yung mga pwd, pregnant and senior di masyado naprio, sa second filter pa naprio and even then hindi hiningan ng ID.
The third bomb, was eto na..yung women who made history video. Why, oh why did you taint the concert with political biases? The U2 concert here is historical in the sense that it’s the first time in the Philippines but why ingrain it with political colors? Disorganizers are biased and it clearly showed in this part of the concert. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. When that video was shown, our enthusiasm, our fire, to see U2 finally do a concert here in the Philippines was replaced with disappointment.
The fourth was egress, so I think you get the point. There were so many cars, and we did not know where to go.
The U2 concert in itself was really amazing and they showed their passion for their fans and concert goers so props to U2. They did exceptional as they should less the video.
Organizers of this event on the other hand, should apologize publicly to the concert goers they did wrong.
